What is Nexo – Soluções Linguísticas?

Nexo – Soluções Linguísticas is a company which provides translation and proofreading services in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Our translations are handled by specialists, without the use of automatic translation tools.


Which languages do you work with?

We work with translation and proofreading services in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.


Which translation areas are your specialties?

We are specialized in Digital Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, Literature, Entertainment, and Pop Culture (nerd/geek world).


Do you work with companies or just with individuals?

We work with individuals and companies.


Do you work with sworn translations?

We do not work with sworn translations. We currently work with free, technical, and literary translations.


Do you charge per page or words?

Our work is charged per words. We consider it is important to charge exclusively for what will be translated or revised. If we charged per page, for example, the client would probably pay for pages without texts, and we would receive without working.


How much is a translation/proofreading service?

The prices vary according to the length and complexity of the text. If the service request has 2,000 words and the price per word is US$ 0,10, the final price will be US$ 200,00.


Can I have a free quotation?

Yes. Send your material to contato@nexolinguistica.com.br specifying the work to be done, the languages in question (in case of translation service), and your turnaround. You will receive a quotation within one business day. For urgent matters, please, contact us through (55 12) 99729-2986.

Important: We will start the work only after the client approves the quotation.


How can I pay for the work?

  • Bank transfer.
  • PayPal (by credit card).

Important: For urgent jobs, we recommend the payment through PayPal, as it is faster than bank transfer and which allows us start the work immediately.


When do I have to pay?

On the first jobs we do together, we request a partial payment in advance, which can be paid via bank transfer or PayPal. The remaining value shall be paid within 5 days after the job delivery.

After we have a solid client-supplier relationship, and depending on the quantity of jobs requested, we can work with monthly invoices, without the need of payment in advance.

Important: For urgent jobs, we recommend the payment through PayPal, as it is faster than bank transfer and which allows us start the work immediately.


Which warranties do I have regarding the quality of the service?

  • Any correction/modification requested within 30 days after the job delivery will be done with no extra charge.
  • We work exclusively with language specialists.
  • We have more than 10 years of experience as language service providers.
  • Your text will always be considered a confidential matter, not being disclosed to third parties.
